HISTORY
Founded
in October of 1962, McGill Maintenance Partnership, Ltd. is a
mechanical maintenance contractor specializing in rotating and
reciprocating equipment, including but not limited to pumps, turbines,
compressors, gearboxes, fans, and blowers. Our customers include
industries from refineries, petrochemical companies, marine and
offshore services to commercial businesses where we are called
on to handle everything from simple repair work to complete rebuilding
of their rotating and reciprocating equipment.
We
currently have two facilities to meet to your needs. Our main
office is located in Freeport, Texas and our second office is
located in Alvin, Texas. Both facilities offer climate-controlled
machine shop and assembly shop services. In addition to these
services, we also offer coatings, fabrication and millwright field
services. We provide qualified craftsmen for both on-site and
off-site repairs and are proud of our accomplishment of being
the first company in our area to be 100% assessed through the
ABC Craft Assessment Program that we also helped to develop.
We
have been a preferred contractor for DOW Chemical for 39 years
and have been awarded numerous safety awards including the most
recent Safety Team 2005 Award. We have worked in many of the DOW
Chemical sites including the Freeport, Texas and Oyster Creek,
Texas facilities where we have worked continuous for the past
39 years. As needed, Dow's CRE group has called upon us for repairs
in the LaPorte, Texas site and we have recently completed our
first turbine project at the Texas City, Texas (Dow/Union Carbide)
site. Additionally, we have worked at many other chemical sites
along the Texas Gulf Coast including BASF, Union Carbide, Dupont,
Solutia and Equistar. We have also worked and provided consultant
services as far away as Alaska, Massachusetts, Indiana, Iowa,
North Carolina, Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Tennessee.
